Please educate me about Leica camera

are we biased against funny nick names "backalley photo"? ;-)
But I quite agree that I should stay away from this one.

backalley photo was the best i could come up with when i was looking for a good name to show my interest in street photography.
it fits in many ways also.
i like to walk down backalleys, hug the shadows and i like being on the street.

i have a hat (my shooting cap) & business cards made with that moniker on them.

as for a black p, i likely will never be able to afford one so the questions is a bit moot, unfortunately.

The shutter is not stuck, the film advanced hasn't been advanced completly, in other words..half cocked!

You bet! This auction just has too many warning flags... For two more, the description ends with these comments: "Payment method prefered is bank to bank wire." And "I would consider ending this auction earlier if you'll come up with a fair offer for this piece of equipment!" Bad smell...

Do people always report to Leica if their Leica gear is missing?


Freaky shutter. But I have to admit. That happened to me, too... It happened when I randomly drop my Leica into the bag after just taking a pic without winding the frame and the winding cranck caught on the side of the bag... :bang:
