Please help me with choosing a 28mm solution!

After trying several 28mm lenses for last years I've ended up with Ricoh GR1v because I don't like the Leica M 0.72x framelines for 28mm

Its considerably easier to see the 28mm framelines in a Zeiss Ikon. Just sayin' :)

And, to save us from temptation, there is no 28mm Summilux! The Biogon 28mm should be a great choice.

The temptation is still there for other focal lengths, but it's easily conquered by stinginess.

I already have a CLE, and decided not to spend anymore money on film bodies, unless it's a fixed lens body that costs less than a similar lens bought separately (like the gr1).

................................ All that could be left is higher quality, more expensive lenses of the same focal length, so i might as well start with a Biogon. ................................

There are a number of people that believe there is no higher quality lens than a 28mm Biogon, only more expensive ones.

The CV 28mm f3.5 and the CLE makes a great combination. Very compact and that is a great lens. I know from first hand experience.

edit: I must add that the CV28 f3.5 is the optical equal of any of the others. There is a reason it has the cult status it does.
