Please post images from M8+5cm Summarit 1.5

Looking for color, especially, but also B/W images from the M8 and 5cm Summarit 1.5, which happens to be my lens of choice.

Gid, thanks, that looks good! Was wondering how it would do without the filter.

What I am hoping for is to closely approximate the image I get with the Summarit on the M3 with TriX film:

The summarit worked very well on my M7, so if it works on your M3 it is likely to be fine on an M8. Getting the Tri-X look might need some work in post and the use of silver fx or other such plug in for photoshop. You can certainly play with the B&W jpeg settings and push the ISO to get some grain, but it will always just be an approximation. I've always preferred less grain, so the smoother output of digital suits me and I can always tweak the contrast in post. BTW I nearly always shoot Raw and convert to B&W later - more options.

The color shot of the little girl is very nice.

The M8 did well ...I am really surprised with the quality from the lens.

As if I don't have enough 50mm glass, this is one I will have to look at more closely for availability.
