Please show me your K-7 photos with various lenses!

I didn't want to make another EVIL SLR thread just for this so I'm posting it here as I'm pretty sure I'll be getting this lens and post some shots here in October.

I love you Pentax. You are like Voigtlander of DSLR world. (incidentally, Cosina just stopped making ZK mount SLII lenses :() I hope Olympus was like that with their M43 lens offering. We have enough zooms. I really support Pentax's brave decision to offer inexpensive primes.

I'm getting one. Heck, the MSRP is $220! :D

Say, is that looking south to Big Sur? When did you take that?

You are spot on, sir. This was from RFF ride to Point Lobos with Roland, Ray and his friend Pete last weekend.

A few more shots with the kit lens (I only had that for K-7 then) from the ride.

The old pentax M 28/2.8 is sweet; and the 35/2 is well regarded. This new lens is either going to be great or a flop.

Sweet! Nice images! I took a photo of that view myself last weekend - but it didn't come out as nicely as yours, with that bank of clouds.

Please do see if you can get your hands on a DA 35 limited - before you get that new 35 mm you mentioned a few posts back. It's worth more than the camera...

gotium,

We had really good view that day, but you know us RFF folks, most of our film cams had b/w films including two of mine. And even the K-7 shots ended up B/W. :p I like that foggy shot myself though.

Yeah, Pentax got pretty attractive primes and I'm having hard time. That DA 35mm Limited is looking really gorgeous although part of me is drooling over the 31mm...

I'm having fun with the old Pentax-M 50/1.4 SMC at home, but I should take out the 28/3.5 this weekend. It's just that I always end up taking my IIIf or M2 with me...

The 31 has more sex appeal, no doubt. I promised myself to stick with one of them, but ended up with both. Prices have gone way up since then...

Can I see your favorite shots with K-7 with either Pentax lens or M42 and other lenses?

And, anyone here doing paid gigs with K-7?

My first wedding job last weekend.

I used two K7. Lenses were the primes DA21, the FA43 and the FA77.

Here a few samples:

The famous FA43 at f1.9!!

The FA77 in the church. I must use Iso 1600 and in the postprocessing I used the LR3 denoise a lot. But I think thats no problem. To miss the pic with the ring would be more tragic than a little grain...

It was a great experience and I feel a little more a little photographer... :D
Best,
Rainer
