Please your thought on ethics in this story

Consider keeping the story and images of the man to yourself.
Photography has the potential to impact a person at a personal level and I think in this particular case, it has, for you.

The question now is, what do you do with that impact? This of course depends on the level of awareness and sensitivity towards others in your life. Maybe at this point you are not ready to help someone like this man, but it will give you something to ponder about that may translate into something more concrete in the coming days.

Not every "art" needs to be published and shared, some are useful to improve our own perspective and mindset, and if those are achieved, the "art" has done more good than not.
 
A thought: you say you have seen his photo published by others. What did they portray? An ignoble drunk? Could you do different, or better, especially with your story as you have related it? Is there a chance that theirs, or yours, could help him reunite himself with family?

As I said, only a thought. I can't answer those questions.
