Plustek help needed please

Hi...I have a Plustek 7300 that I want to use on my PC which is running Windows 7. The software driver and Silverfast software supplied with the scanner is not compatible with Windows 7. I can't seem to find a driver - can anyone recommend where to look? And if I get this far what can I do about Silverfast? Thanks

What SF version do you have?
6.x or 8x

Go to the Plustek Website Driver Support, and download the Win Drivers...
(for a version 6.x, go to the 32bit folder and run the "Setup" file after you unzip it)
(Pick OpticFilm Series, then 7300 in next box)

BTW... you must have the Scanner turned "ON" AND a Scanning Tray in the unit for Silverfast to recognize the scanner.

I had a 7300 for a few years, and prefer V.6x of Silverfast over V.8x ... But, V.8 is faster in some regards.

Thank you! I will try that. Not sure what version of Silverfast I have...it's whatever came with the scanner originally so I guess it is an older version. I wonder if it will work with Windows 7?
