There was an adapter made at one time but to my knowledge it's no longer made. I can't remember the manugacturer but have seen them on ebay. There are currently some Chinese made Contax to M adapters but the focus would be off with the Nikkor lens. If memory serves me correctly the Nikon to M adapter can run $300+ US.
There are the original Orion adapters and some copies manufactured in 2001. See http://www.cameraquest.com/adapter.htm. Either will be very expensive if you find them.
Like x-ray said, Contax adapters will not be usable.
It might be cheaper to find a good LTM copy of the lens.
I thought I had read or heard somewhere that there are adapters out there.
As you say, Roland probably wiser to find a similar LTM lens. Well, I just got the LTM Canon 1.4 so that will do for now. Thanks again.
