Wow, great camera (we have 1) for a great cause.

Does Missionfish keep a portion? I know from ebay type sales, they keep from 3-20%

If you'll send one down under I'll donate twice the cost of the postage as my contribution (I'm assuming the postage will actually be more than the US$15/unit you've quoted). PM me with the details, if that sits OK with you.

I'm not sure on the exact percentage they keep for themselves. There was a processing fee (which was supposedly covered by Paypal) of $1.88 out of a $50 donation.

I was actually unaware and had assumed all donations from my Paypal account went straight to Red Cross.

I'm going to have to do some more research on how to skip out Mission Fish.

You have a PM.

Any money made beyond the cost of shipping is being donated, so basically he's giving his own cameras away for charity. In a round about way.

Darwin is legit in case anyone has any worries.

Before, and during getting and using our first digital cameras in 1995, we used this camera a lot while traveling, and for family photos and stuff. Those photos we took from them are still some of our favorites, both for content, and technically, and all the processing (C41 color) was just done by Japanese and American 1 hour type places.

Tempted to get a 2nd, but we haven't used our working first one in years.

WOW.

This has been a terrific turn out.

As of now, I will stop taking orders @ 7:00AM EST 3/17/11.

THANKS FOR EVERYONE'S SUPPORT FOR THIS CAUSE.
