Polarizer on RF's

Argh, this post above is mine but I forgot I wasn't logged in, Joe, is it possible to 'repair' it ?

Oscar (fogged mind) :)

Oscar,
I looked into this and got a reply from the US distributor: no plans to market it here, apparently it is available in Japan. Do any of the members in other countries know if it available where you live? I'd be interested in buying one.

Doug, read the text on the linked page carefully - the guy made his own. He couldn't get the one from Japan, either, so he made his own without too much trouble...
I might copy the design, since I'm used to various DIY solutions. Not much equipment and accessories available here, so I get by with "make your own" accessories quite often :)

Btw hope Alvin (wiredwolf) will join us soon...

Hiya!
Alvin here. Signed up earlier yesterday, and been lurking ;-)

Say Taffer, that's some nice stuff in your album. Darn, wish I can shoot stuff like that. Really like the way you play with the light. Right now hunting for that PAW project thing. Will join in once I find out what and when and how :)

Regards,
Alvin

PS: I got some 2 shots in from my Canon Ql17, which is my main camera now. Not bad, but it does require a bit more handholding effort.

New guy alert!

New guy alert!

Welcome, Alvin!
I'm sure you'll like the place, and from your articles on the Web it sure looks like you belong here!

Welcome!

Good luck with it !! I find the paw a great way to put my brain to work and look for new images, thanks so much to Lars from this forum who showed me the way ;)

Love the compo on both pictures, be sure to post them on our gallery ! Btw I'm sure there's a site with tips to scan 35mm and mf slides with a digital camera, must dive into my bookmarks...
