About 2 and a half years ago my cousin gave me an old Polaroid Land camera for Christmas. It came in an original Polaroid case that also included, among other cool stuff, an unopened box of color film. It wasn't until about a week ago that I finally got around to rigging it to work with a 3v battery from Radio Shack, and shot a pack of black and white film with it. I don't think it'll be replacing my Mamiya 7 anytime soon, but it's still a pretty fun camera.

Anyway, my question is whether it'd be worth it to try shooting with the color film that came with the camera, or if I'd be better off just leaving it in its current state. Along with the film and original manuals, there was also the flash unit and an unopened pack of GE flash cubes in the case too, so I'm thinking it might be something a collector might be interested in. Thoughts?

I have seen some 40+ year old Polaroid film still make images.

My experience with color- after 5 years, the colors are way off.

But, it might work. Unless you just want a conversation piece with the unopened film box, try it out!
