Polaroid 195, sync/self timer lever..

Hello friends...
Just got a Polaroid 195 in really nice conditions, minimal aesthetic damages for just 25usd 😛.
The sync/selftimer lever only works at x position, no on selftimer function.
Any advice or trick to get it works again or if a repaiman is requiered, somebody in USA can You recommend 🙂

Getting a Polaroid 195 for $25 is a steal. Congratulations! The only place I know that can probably repair your camera is Retrospekt. They did a nice CLA for my Polaroid 180, and they had better communications with me than anyplace I’ve used for camera repair. Here’s their contact information.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say that the lever only works in the X position, is it stuck there? The self timer (10sec delay) should only work in the V position. X is for electronic flash, M without flash.
