Does anyone have a source for Polaroid P/N film? A short while ago I was able to get 5 packs of T-665 P/N through Amazon from K & M Tribeca. Now I see that they don't list it. T-55 P/N is still widely available, but Polaroid discontinued 665 some time ago. Does anyone have a source that might have some expired 665 in stock? There is no B&W film that can compete and I'd like to have a small stock until someone comes to their senses and decides to pick up Polaroid's formula.

How is the 665 different from Type 55? Type 55 is very nice and, like you said, you can still get it from Polaroid direct. That could change on a daily basis. If it were me, I would jump on the Type 55 while you have the chance. It would be fresh and if you store it properly it will last awhile.

That's true, 665 is a smaller, pack-film, develop-as-you-go version of the 55. The actual film in there is rumoured to be panatomic x. Now that the product is being discontinued and the patents/licenses are up in the air, we may finally find out.

I have 665 in my fridge. Sorry, it's basically priceless to me. The 55, I have been getting that from B&H. I like the 55 so much that I am willing to throw away a lot of the frame and shoot it in a sheet holder on medium format gear (for which 665 would obviously be a better option!).

55 will be available through 2008 and into 2009.

I hope you got that from the CEO of Polaroid. I hope your correct.

It depends on how much of the stuff folks are stuffing in their refrigerators.

I just checked. According to their quantity available, they are restocking Type 55 before it goes to zero. It was at 650 this morning and now it's back up to 996 or thereabouts.
