This is a fantastic app. It is a very close simulation for producing Polaroid prints which is close to the "real" experience.
Now all they need to do is allow you to use the iSight camera.

You can use your iSight camera. Just use Photo booth, save the file and feed it to poladroid.

I played with it for one shot and totally fell in love with it. It can't replace the real thing (I got a Polaroid Land 420), but it's very close.
The most interesting thing is that, like the real thing, you have to WAIT for the image to be developed. Yes, wait before the computer screen. Here are some sample shots to show the whole procedure:

You can double-click on the "under development" icon and get a sample shot at that stage, at anytime during the procedure. Brilliant idea!
Also you can choose whether you want scratches and dust on the paper or photo area or both.

Clever idea, but he shouldn't use digital for the original image, maybe a Holga. The images are way to sharp and the color is just not Polaroid (or Fuji). This 17 year old girl has it down, they should try for her look:
