Like dmr, I averaged on my answer. Some months I could easily shoot 20 rolls, others 2 or 3. I shoot 95% B & W and always develop my own negs and then scan.

Peter, what's the book? I probably can find it through my library systemAriya said:Ditto for me. My shots per month went up dramatically once I learned to develop the film myself. The cost savings is incredible. If anyone wants to learn, I'd be happy to send the book I started with at no charge. Just send a PM.

Between 1 and 3 per week in my case would add up to about 6 or 7 per month..Dougg said:So, Peter and others who replied with a weekly count, how does it average out on a month-to-month basis?

Dougg said:So, Peter and others who replied with a weekly count, how does it average out on a month-to-month basis? Maybe the poll would be even more meaningful had it asked for a yearly count. I searched my film database for "2005" and it came up with records of 94 rolls shot that calendar year. I'm a little surprised it was that much, as I don't often take multiple shots of a single subject. Perhaps non-typical, as I used only 65 for each of the two previous years. Still, this gives a new perspective on the contents of the freezer!
