Ha, ha! Shall we believe this poll then the average Leica film camera user is to be found in the Salvation Army soup kitchen two blocks down the road from Wall Street, smattering with his practically noiceless M6, besides lice-plocking his winter coat.

I laughed out loud when I saw $10-$12 an hour marked as MIDDLE CLASS. Yeah right. Where I live, and I am in a place with a very, very low cost of living, middle class still requires $20 an hour or more. Unfortunately, most of my generation make less than $8 an hour even with university degrees.

Brand New In Box
Is this dollars or pounds????
Figures seem waaay too low to me. Lets start talking 200+ per hour for middle class?

Oh Jesus, I was laughing my ass off as soon as I read this. How could anyone NOT realize this is a joke?
The sorry state of so many people just taking themselves a bit too seriously.
I had a good LOL, moreso at all the people taking it seriously than the original joke.

I have a CL and 3 film M bodies. I had 4 but I sold 1. The one that gets the most use these days is a 1958 vintage button rewind M2 that I bought from another photographer. I paid $100 for it for right after the 1972 Democratic convention. Who needs income? The camera has only cost me a few pennies a day, perhaps a nickle including the 35mm Summicron, hood, and a strap.
