Yesterday the postman tried to deliver my new Zorki 1 from Oleg. Unfortunately no one heard him knock, so all he left was a delivery attempt notice. Hopefully the Zorki will be here this afternoon. If so, I'll definitely shoot with it Saturday. Sunday I'm off to New Orleans for the first anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. I'll be working most of the time, but I'll take a Spotmatic and Super Tak 35mm f3.5. I've used that lens on my KM 5D already but this will be the first time I shoot film with it.

I'll be using my D200 and either Sigma 17-70 or Nikon 35mm 1.4AIS the whole weekend. Normally I'd be using my one my Yashica RF but I'll be in a rush this weekend and I'm already backed up with film needing to be processed.

You're riding that? I'm riding the Norfolk Century, way over East in Long Island, NY, although weather isn't going our way at the moment...

And I'll take the little Konica Lexio 70 for the ride (as mentioned elsewhere in this thread).

Yeah, HHH is the one organized ride that I never miss, just habit I guess. It's more for the drinking around the motel pool afterwards with friends than the ride, actually, which is flat, featureless, and pretty boring.
And stinking hot. It will be frying-pan hot this year, I'm hoping not as bad as in 2000, when the temperature was 113 F., with a reading of 130 F. 18 inches off the pavement.
Good luck on your ride in NY.

I don’t intend to use any camera this weekend because I have reserved this weekend to process some E6 rollfilm and some black & white sheet film that I have accumulated.

what ball game?
just a minor league game with some friends.. we prefer to go to those games instead of the major leagues because it's a fun little park with a very social atmosphere.. it's really all about being with friends, rather than caring who wins.. and the spectators make for great photo ops

The Canonet will do for the weekend for the most part: It's move-in at my school, so right now my Canonet, F2, D1H, and a block of Tri-X are packed up nice and neat in the pile of junk to head back to "the Emerald City of Oz" (The FE2 and 10D stay behind for Mom and Dad respectively).

Contax II, Bessa R2C, 50/1.5 Sonnar, 35/4.5 Ortho, 50/3.5 Tessar and 85/2 Sonnar. Just got 2 of these lenses back from being cleaned by Ken Ruth, and want to take them out for a test drive.

Since I am on vacation this weekend and in addition, going to my grandparents for their anniversary; I will be bringing my Bessa T with 21mm lens, but also have my Nikon D2x with 24mm Nikkor, 50mm Zeiss, and 28-300 Tamron (which most likely won't be used).

Last night I was traveling through NYC on the train and I didn't even pull out the nikon. Just shot some quick tourist and street shots with the Bessa. Even in front of Penn Station I wasn't given a passing glance. Not sure it would have been the same with the D2 body.

well, i did use the 25 and 50 comboination at the fringe this afternoon, along with the 90 but it never left the bag.
it was mostly the 25 and some 50 shots at the end before my knees started to go.
i hope to go back tomorrow with just the zm 35 as it has been gathering dust for too long now. i might throw the cv 21 & finder in the bag and see how they feel on the zi as well.
21 & 35, that sounds like a good combo too.

the beauty of mix and match!

One day into the weekend and so far I've used the Leica M3 w/ a 50mm Summicron (10 shots or so) and a digital P&S (2-3 shots). One more day to go. Tommorow should be a Hasselblad day....
