In the 70ties/80ties I was using promicrol-ausgleichsentwickler(dont know the english word-its how the developper is behaving). it will push the film a bit with a very good ratio(ausgleich-white/dark-zones). I have one roll polypan50/90m. not used yet.
maybe its from agfa, a version of agfapan50 or avipan? must check my files. just like the new lomofilms.
i have very thin avipan 200s/70mm. and 70mm avicolors. h100(also 126mm/46m) and n400. no new emulsions yet.

update: Aviphot Pan 50 PE1(0.10mm like pan 200S) is very sharp and finegrained, soft gradation, antihalo-layer.
i cannot imagine that polypan 50 is a version of agfa aviphoto Pan 50

maybe MZB is a good 2bath-developper

curve will only slightly be bent one zone in the highlights starting at zone VII.
its is flexible for a higher reduction of density without losing speed.
developper not only for tanks but also trays.
is tolerant against temperature-differences and overexposure.
speedtables may different for the informations of the producers.
very detailed description how to dilute use the chemicals at the end of the chapter. also ONE-bath possible.

I googled "Polypan Rodinal" and this thread come, thanks to petronius!
Never knew I could use different speeds at one film.
Went out yesterday and tried PPF50 between 25 and 800.
At 200 and 400 it is still reasonable.

In Rodinal 1:100 for one hour. New developer to me.
I like this film at 100 in xTol. Was my only film for this summer.

I've generally only had luck with Rodenel 1+100 sit stand when it comes to Polypan-f

Yesterday evening I got lucky and ran across five cans of Polypan F 90mtrs, expired 2006 but kept cool, at EUR 9,90 a piece! They were on eBay.

I bought three and will serve noodle soup at the dinner table for the coming week😉 Looking forward to rolling my first Polypan F films myself, will load my KASAM cassettes to use in the little Leica II.

There's some more film coming my way from a trade for a flash, and I'll be set in B&W for years to come. Santa's gonna bring me Rodinal and fixer, and maybe a C-41 color kit...🙄
