Autism strikes again - in my case -
When kids see a bus go by , he/she will say that the bus goes by AGAIN .
It seems to take a while to recognise two or more buses .
Also , s/he might see a model car in the window and ask can I go in it ? The idea of size and perspective is not developed .[ I have seen this and wondered why dad did't get the obvious ]
Intellectually , I am aware of this , but my brain does not register and record input properly , so I am stuck in 5 year old mode .
This , I realised a few years back , following serious reflection has impacted on collections of identical Dinky Toys / Sindy Dolls etc .
It's as if one does not impact , but 'several' is like stimulus immediately repeated - object again , not repeated ...
So twin or more cameras help with imprinting - no matter how fleetingly .
3x is even better , hence groups of FSUs / Minolta SRTs funded by Dinky Toy sales at silly money ... though if I had not done so , I would be able to afford some awesome camera and lenses .
It does not matter , as cameras en-mass are magical to me and I love my Leica-likes and Kontaxes .
Great excuse though ??
