Very touching work, I especially liked the winter shots with the sheep.. that went straight to the heart. You can just feel the dedication and bond this man had with his subjects.

The video had a bit of a melancholic feel to it though, it definitely worked, but I think they could just as well have chosen a happier angle. It's sad that things are changing, but it's part of human nature.. we should be happy about the fact that Ravillious was there to capture and preserve daily life for us like that.

I only discovered him recently, but he is already one of my favourites.
I think a lot can be learned from his approach.
