Popflash service

A little while back, in this thread http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14217&highlight=popflash Nick asked for comments on Popflash's service. At the time I commented that it was a shame they did not offer to mail via USPS, as UPS was extremely expensive, especially for small items, and because UPS go out of their way to ensure that all imports to Australia incur import duties.

Tony Rose, the proprietor of Popflash, saw my comment and contacted me to say they are happy to send via USPS. I ordered a Leica lens hood cap from him, and he was patient through a series of misunderstandings over a credit-card number. The cap arrived today, and needless to say I'm very pleased with Tony's service.

Popflash is the first link in my vendor list.

Tony will spend the same amount of time discussing a lens cap as a lens and will never make you feel hurried. He has taken the time to discuss with me the merits of two lenses and steered me in the right direction. He's an honest guy, has great prices, and ships very quickly. Definitely one of, if not the best out there.

Good guy to deal with over the phone. I just wish his website was a little faster. Maybe it's only slow for Mac users but I can't make it through the full list of Leica items without giving up. I'm sure I've missed some good deals.
