Does Portland ever host camera shows? I'd like to go to on but I've yet to hear of any happening. It seems like there's sufficiently enough shooters here? 😕

There is a swap meet every year - I think around October - at the National Guard Armory near the airport.
Doug said:Drive a bit northward to Puyallup, Chad! Puget Sound Photo Collectors Society puts on a swap meet with also not-for-sale displays of historical interest (Argus, stereo gear, etc). This is at the state fairgrounds in Puyallup on the 4th Saturday of April each year. Coming up soon, should be the 28th of this month.
See the club website at http://www.geocities.com/pspcs/index.html
And find the event listed on the fairgrounds calendar... http://www.thefair.com/events.asp
Google for a map... 🙂

JayC said:I can't find anything for the current year, but last year's show was:
"Saturday, Oct. 28, at the Jackson Armory located at 6255 N.E. Cornfoot Road. General admission will be $5 from 9:30 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. Student admission during this time is $3. Early admission is available from 8 to 9:30 a.m. for $15."
I would look for some updated info on the web closer to the middle/end of October.
