To be honest it was a fun meeting. Four talented and motivated folks brought a bunch of gear and intellect so that we could sit, talk and BS for a few hours. It was grand. For some of us it is a trek. It was worthwhile for me. I believe it was so for all. The coffee house, Crema on Belmont, has a huge room so we could spread out and shove gear around and speculate on it. I can only speak for myself, I had fun. I hope the others did, too.

I can report that after this months meetup I am a happy customer. Got to talk about cameras *and* get movie recommendations. Couldn't have gone better. Next time I'm in Portland, I'll pull out my Japanese stuff.

Indeed, a good get-together. Miles is a knowledgeable fellow and is deep into the obscure, like where to get a front element replaced on a Summicron. Hah! How many know that?? It is always worth the drive up to PDX and back for good conversation.
