Some other time, then. I wish you all a good harvest out at the vineyard.Sorry, can't do any date for the next month-ish. It's my busy time of year.
Miles.

I'll be there! Looking forward to increasing quorum by at least one! I will update the top post now, too, so others will see.Bumping the thread because so far it's just me and @boojum who have confirmed. @milescl @Slumgullion @rfaspen are y'all willing and/or able to meet up again on 5 October, same Bat-Time, same Bat-Channel?

Great! That's enough to create a real disturbance, but not enough for a minyan. Yeah, I grew up back east. ;o) A real disturbance will work fine.

I have confirmed my ride for that date but will have to hammer out details with her as the date draws nearer.

Keep me posted if you need any help. I will be coming in on 30 otherwise. If you need a ride I can swing in on I-5 through Vancouver. I'll drive a moving van so we can handle that wet plate view camera you are bringing along. ;o)

And do no forget, we have to have a place set aside for Helen back in Gotham City. Helen, straight up or Latte?

I thought you were bringing a huge old wet plate viewing camera, a Matthew Brady kind of thing. I can drive a mini SUV if you need the space for the camera.

You might be mistaking me for someone else. I have never so much as touched a view camera, let alone owned one. I don't even develop my own film, let alone wet plates. I am planning on bringing something for show and tell but it's much, much more modest in size. An SUV will not be necessary.I thought you were bringing a huge old wet plate viewing camera, a Matthew Brady kind of thing. I can drive a mini SUV if you need the space for the camera.

Boojum is just goofing on ya. Tell him to bring an SUV, or two...maybe even a semi-truck...a lorry...maybe even Hugh Laurie. You might be mistaking me for someone else. If you are sure that you will not need an SUV I will bring the mini rocket ship, the silver torpedo, the G1 Insight.

OK, I just heard from my PO and I am good to go for next Saturday. I can phone in that I am not in custody somewhere. Check with your PO's to see if you can do the same. I am sure you can. As for Helen in NY, well, it seems they are locking up all of the top of the political and police structure there so she is probably as free as a bird. ;o) Rock and roll, baby.

I wonder if there will be any Bertele Sonnars at this get together. I know there are some real Sonnar Fans...

Thank you! Yes, yes. Will be dragging this aged ass out of Astoria early Saturday morning. WAZE has the destination dialed on and a cordial voice selected to give directions. I have the Pixii A2572 for "show and tell". Monday it gets a flight to France to get upgraded to a full-frame camera.
If anybody wants to shoot with it they are welcome and I can post the pics on Flickr and post a link.
And don't forget that we have to have an honorary place set for Helen back in Gotham. She has not yet said whether she wants straight up espresso or a latte. We'll see.
I am looking forward to this. We can go into sugar shock over pastries with a good caffeine buzz. Woohoo, a street legal meth hit. LMAO
After I will swing through Beaverton for a "real" Korean restaurant that has great food and broken English. Always Spring, if you like Asian food it is worth a visit. Be prepared to be a distinct minority while there and meal time it is jammed. ;o)

You rogue. Not this one. This one will be the Pixii and the CV 35mm Nokton II. SBS will be a later get-together. Most likely on the old M9 and same deal, if you want to shoot it I'll post the pics on Flicker. Asking about the SBS is your "tell", lens lover that you are.
That SBS does so much so well. And my old '57 KMZ J8 is a honey. I have to find some colorful thing to shoot for that 50 test. I'll shoot the 50's I have and post a link.
I suspect that there will be a link of pics of this conspicuous criminal conspiracy Saturday and I hope they get posted before various federal agencies post theirs in the "Wanted for Interstate Flight to Avoid Prosecution" section of their online rogues gallery.
Caffeine and sugar, woohoo! With camera nuts. Bliss. ;o)

I’ll be bringing some Sonnar “rarity du jour” along — perhaps you should bring the M9 + SBS, too, you never know when you might have to take two photos at the exact same time…You rogue. Not this one. I believe that lens was used (Pinky to Lip) for a LASER! Along with TWO Sonnars that I have used in the same "Scientific Experiment"... Rare- mystery- does not go far enough on how 1930s Sonnars ended up in a 1970 optical experiment.
