The best camera is one that still works!
This thread (which I started a while ago now) constantly amazes me with the standard of images being posted! 
And I still dont have anything longer than 50mm in Nikon F mount. :bang:
Luckily my 50mm Planar does a pretty good job with portraits and is keeping me reasonably content ... particularly on the D700 which also continues to impress me, for an evil DSLR!

Keith: I recommend this lens very highly. Another excellent lens is the Canon 85/1.2L, which is not available in F mount.

Lovely shots of your two princesses, Raid. I bought the Nikkor 2.5/105 as my very first lens for the FM2. And I still have it.
