Portraits on film business?

I live in a wealthy city and was wondering whether there is a small opportunity for some classic portrait work on film, with the Rolleiflex and other old cameras that I shoot with.

People in their homes, places of business or in the activity that they feel defines them.

I am a software developer, so this would be for more for a little cash on the side, than a massively profitable business.

Anyone on here do this kind of thing? What kind of prices can be charged for sitting and framed prints etc? Do you enlarge and wet print or scan and digitally print through a lab?

If you can find a market and do a good job, then wet prints may have some additional cache.

Most portrait photographers in the UK charge high prices for prints - part of the business model as there are a lot of companies doing very stylised 'art portraiture'. You would be a niche, but if you've got the kit and time, then good luck.

I've seen the odd business in the UK work on this basis, as a sideline I think.
