Ever since Fujifilm announced their discontinuation of the FP100C peel-apart film I stacked up on as much as I could afford and I've used it rather sparingly, until this winter.
I went to a small island I've been many times before in Indonesia and I brought with me probably the worst travel setup one can think of - the Polaroid 600SE along with 15 boxes of FP100C.
I did about 130 portraits of mostly local people. The prints came out great but their reaction when peeling their own portrait unexpectedly became as much part of the project as the prints themselves.
If you want to check it out I filmed most of these shots and their reaction.
It's all on Instagram so I filmed vertically and I'm not sure if its viewable for those who haven't got an Instagram account yet. I know some of you do.
I've kept most of the backing papers that I'm planning to bleach and transform into negatives at some point.
