Positive Images from Rollei Retro 80s/400s

Right, so I've been searching all evening for information on how to develop a negative black & white film to create positive images. I've found that Rollei Retro appears to be one of the few (if not, the only.) film stock(s) that is able to be processed in such a way to receive a positive instead of the usual negative.

I know many of you here are far more knowledgeable on ALL subjects than my self.

My aim is to experience many Films before they eventually die out or become simply un-affordable to shoot such as Fuji Slide film.

Any information will help, as I've been googling for a rather long time and have come up with very little.

Nevertheless thankyou. I shall have a look at this and perhaps a go if it isn't too daunting. I'd love to have b/w slides to look at and I think perhaps this is the only way!

They have quite a list of films. I know TriX can be reversed.

Process doesnt seems too hard. Chemical could be obtenied locally or though internet, unless there are restricted on your country.

Seems a pretty nostalgic way to see slides 🙂. Rather romantic.

Rather, yes. I've managed to get my hands on one roll of Foma R100 but that is literally the only one I've been able to find. I'm rather desperate to see if I can obtain any more than this. I can't keep letting these films slip away from me ):

Kodak used to make a B&W reversal film for motion picture cameras. I know it was available in 8mm and 16mm, might also be available in 35mm.

You can process a lot of (most?) B&W negative film as slides. The best place for info is over on APUG. There are loads of threads about different techniques...search for the user 'destroya' who documented his results with a few different emulsions. You can use light to reverse the film (the Ilford method) or a chemical process.
