Possible or Suitable to use Neutral Fix on film

Neutral meaning PH neutral? It should work fine, and smell a lot less. Here's more info than you would ever want on it.

I was just thinking as the details on these Ph Neutral Fixers usually only refer to use FB-paper and no word of film fixing.

Have checked a few alternatives, this on particularly http://www.macodirect.de/rollei-neutral-liter-p-1158.html
Both none seem to be suitable for film fixing.

The link I gave to digital truth specifically refers to using it for film, and gives dilution and times for it. I've never used it, but the info is there.

The advantage of an acid fix is that it replaces the stop bath. You can just rinse the film once or twice with water and pour the fix in.

With a neutral fix, you should probably add a stop bath between development and fix, to prevent overdeveloping.

Got a some local answers also, seems like the Stop is important, so i will get the Citrinstop and Neutralfix to get rid of the smell. Thanks also for the answers here.

The Sulfurdioxide smell is normally valid when using an Acid type fix on papers, especially fiber papers in a tray development.
The advantage of an Acid type fix on films is indeed that you could skip the stop bath.
When using a Neutral or Alkaline type of fix you must use a stop bath.
