not too sure about the quality of processing but , from a new to me Agfa Isolette with a solinar lens . the lens is a bit dusty and has a bit of fungus, Kodak gold 200.

My only critisism of the Foma400 are the scratches. Give it a bit of overexposure (i.e. 320ASA or even 250ASA) and has a nice old-fashioned feeling with nice grain, contrast and tonality 👍

I agree that Roma's QA/QC has periodically been sub-optimal.

You can get a reasonable EI 400 out of Fomapan 400 in T-Max or T-Max RS (not the same, and Max RS is discontinued) developers at 1+4 or 1+7 (if you still have the T-Max RS add the replenisher to the developer and use it 1+7) or in Xtol 1+1 or other equivalent ascorbate developers.
