Met this lovely photographer and her partner as I was 'shooting the shooter'🙂 Had a nice chat about their life, home and community, as well as her enthusiasm for film and old cameras.

This is a shot from the Yashica Electro 35MC scale focus point and shoot I mentioned earlier. On Kodak Ultramax 400 with a little bit of colour balance and contrast adjustment in LIghtroom - a bit dreamy?

I was pleased with these - my FM2T is a bit beaten up and arrived with a replacement bottom plate from an FE2. These were shot from a hotel window in Birmingham with a Zeiss ZF 1.4/50 planar on ultra max 400. The construction work has been ongoing for some time.

The FM2 raises a question that o keep asking without answer. It arrived with a +1 eyepiece that I changed back to the standard (-1) so that I could see clearly through it. However, I see a lot of old Nikon and other slr’s for sale without any eyepiece. Why do people do that?
