I would imagine that a soak in that spring would leave one absolutely glowing!

The water was advertised as "the more radioactive water in Europe". Bottles were shipped to many places., and the Spa kept a very busy activity up to 1945.
During the first half of the last century radioactivity was considered to have health benefits. I remember a book by Bill Bryson were he mentions radioactive toilet seats (supposed to be germ-free)...
