Here is an ipad pic (with flare) of a 5x7 print I made myself about 30 years ago in my university's student darkroom, a year or so after I first found my father's old camera in a closet and getting hooked on photography. This would have been taken with a Pentax ME and Makinon 75-150 lens that I bought myself. This barn no longer stands.

This one was taken 2 years later, still at university. My old girlfriend walking away with her new boyfriend that I happened upon while walking in a snowstorm, still depressed over the breakup. They didn't notice me. This image really got me hooked into photography.

Lots of "water under the bridge" since then, so I'm okay. That image demonstrated to me the power of an image.

Just happened to scan some slides from the 80ies when I started with photography. Taken with my all-manual SLR with a 50mm standard lens. This is one of the better pictures ...

Yeah, like twk, I think this is great! I started reading him about then. Been hooked on gonzo style ever since. Congrats on catching him in such a characteristic pose!
