hey John, yeah, I'll try it... that last one you took is great, wow, you can see a little bit of age and agony there!

My 39 year old brother would love to hear that - must be the harsh Aussie sun :)

Same day, same lens, shot on a wedding. Didn't have enough time so far to retouche away the Canon 5D in the background... ;-)

Sailing trip in the netherlands, April 2007. Again the ZM35/2. Perhaps needs some cropping.

Hmmmm, no more pictures? Thought we could have some more like in the M8 thread of the same title...
Ok, I'll bite :)

This next image is an example of the special 'old fashioned' colour that the RD-1 produces. Once again, 40 Nokton.

@sem,
that's a very nice lively portrait! I would give it more contrast, though.

Valdemar,

Nice series. I enjoy a 'walk' through another city and experience the ebb and flow.

I think some of those would look even nicer in B/W - so many different tones to enjoy.

What iso did you use? Seems like some noise even on the well lit ones. Was it drawing out some shadow detail in PP that has caused this perhaps? Or did you choose a relatively high iso to keep that depth of field?

Cheers,

John

I used Photoshop and varied the ISO all the way up to 1600 to keep a high shutter speed and good depth of field for grab shots.

I don't remember but I suppose you could look at the EXIF data in each photo.

Great thread, great camera. One from last summer at WDW. RD-1, 28mm Ultron.

A very good selection in that gallery. You have some very good stuff throughout your smugmug gallery. Thanks for sharing.
