I just got myself a new toy: a Ricoh GR1s. I've been looking for a decent priced one for a very long time, and finally, some days ago, I found a nice offer on ebay and didn't think twice. All in all, the camera keeps its promises: it's small, light and very well done. It fits perfectly in my jeans pocket: finally a carry-everywhere film camera!
Anyway, as soon as I received, I loaded a Tri-X 400 roll on it and started snapping around. I had no intention to produce any unforgettable photos with that, it was just a test roll. But I really liked one of the shots:

I wasn't too thrilled with this film. Zorki 2c with 50/3.5 elmar & Gekko MW100 film souped in rodinal. I totally bombed on the exposure setting but I kinda like how it turned out.

One from my Nikon F2 which I recently had serviced by Sover Wong. I bought it off eBay because I wanted the lens it came with. The guy who sold it more or less said it was a basket case and that the head didn't work. In fact all the head needed was a battery and Sover said that internally the camera was in pretty good shape. The photo was taken in Peebles - a beautiful wee town in the Scottish Borders.

The little Olympus XA may not have a Summicron on it, but if it's in my jeans pocket, I get the shot, and for a camera that looks like a little toy, the lens is pretty good. This is from the last roll out of the XA.
