APX400 in Ethol UFG - just found a magic combo for at least two classic emulsions (APX and Tri-X, also happy how it handled the FP4+). UFG is very unknown and highly underrated developer - a gem in the B&W world IMO. It's something between a Rodinal and Xtol, "bite" (acutance) of the first and "smoothness" ([Ultra-]Fine-Grain and high-latitude) of the second. I'll be ordering some more while it's still in stock of some shops and will try it on other classic emulsions as well.
