Thanks, much appreciated. Most difficult part was getting the film to "sit down" on the scanner (using the 120 carrier on an Epson V550). 🙂

Fabulous, William. The perspective puts us 'on their side' of the work, which seems to me more intimate, less confrontational/touristy. And though the pile of wood (fuel?) is confining, indeed a wall, its contrast, along with the smoke, sets off the workers. The background light coming through the wall is essential, but also somehow pitiless.

that pile of wood is the fuel
I just try not to shot frontally .. my respect for the workers that works very hard in very hot environment
