Post-V 3.0 Video on the Fuji X-T1

I've been so busy with work that I haven't even updated my X-T1 to the new firmware.

With that being said, does anyone have experience shooting video fully manual with it after the updated firmware, and can you compare to shooting video on a Canon (either 5D or 7D series).

Just wondering if it can shoot passibly professional-looking video now that shutter speed/ISO/aperture/frame rate are fully configurable.

Fuji X can do video? (Just kidding. Sort of.)

X-E1 with latest firmware still can't touch even my old D7000. Or even my Nikon 1 V1. I hear things are better with newer cameras, but not much.
