So I had the FM2n + MD-12 kit out today

took a photo of wifey, then she picked up the camera to return the favor:

"This is really heavy!", grimace

puts it up to her eye:
"Wow, this lens is amazing!" (Zeiss ZF.2 Planar 50/1.4)

presses the shutter:
"OMG, that was great, it's got such a sound, so... mechanical..."

My last roll of film was taken on FM2+MD12 with the AI 85mm f1.8. A lovely combo and it reminded me of just what a 'proper' SLR is all about. Not surprised you got that reaction 🙂

We went to show horses to our daughter this evening on racetrack. Plenty of people with cameras. One of them recognized Leica on me and told it is nice camera.

My “new” Leicaflex Standard, a 50mm F2.0 Summicron R, and a roll of Efke 25. I shot 27 exposures in less than two minutes of three teenage friends goofing off in their backyard. Tomorrow I process the film.

Lighting is gear. Four Paul Buff Einstein flash units, parabolic umbrellas, some traditional ones, backgrounds, nightstands, background stands, reflectors and grid spots.

At this time, no lust for camera gear.
