After reading another thread about 35mm lenses it seems some love this lens while others dislike it intensely so how about posting some shots to show what this little lens can do!

Well, I have heaps of photos with the Summarit-M 35mm. I really love this lens. Small, looks great, built well, and makes great images.
Here's they are: scottwallick's Summarit 35mm f/2.5 photos
I've used it with film and on the M9.

Once again, I really love my Summarit.

Watching this one. A very under rated lens.
It will be interesting to see the images posted here.

I'll add some more taken with film.
These are from a recent trip to Kathmandu using a Zeiss Ikon and the Summarit 35 on Fujicolor Reala 100 and Pro 400H.
Here those are: scottwallick's Summarit 35 (on film)
On Reala 100:

On 400H:

On another note, has Reala 100 been discontinued?

I guess I am the sole representative for the Summarit 35.
Come on, no one else has some Summarit 35 shots to share?

OK, I'll bite. Ive got a Summarit 35, though as a 50mm-phile, I haven't used it a great deal yet...
School's out for summer:
That has VARY, very nice bokeh!

I agree... A wonderful lens... I noticed it first on a Leica Summarit-M series catalog: OOF zones are not too defocused, but it's certainly enough, and has a nice and very relaxed bokeh, and it contrasts very well with the sharp close subjects... It's also the smallest, lightest Leica 35 in production... A shame it's more expensive than a great CV 1.2...

Here are three images with the lens during my first week with it. All taken with a M6.

It may just be that I'm not a huge fan of the 35mm FOV, but it seems I'm forever searching for "my 35".
Based on all the images I've seen from this lens, it may be my favorite of Leica's 35mm offerings. Threads like this really fuel a kind of tepid lust for one in me. If money were no issue, I'd probably own one already. Since it is, well...

apart from some distortion and modest contrast there is not a lot to dislike... Bokeh is tremendous. I suppose if you want ultra high contrast and teh greatest possible bite wide open it might not be your bag, but apart from that its as good as it gets.
This shot was shot in full mid day sun on this lens: http://thomasstanworth.viewbook.com/album/afghan_heroin_not_for_export?p=1#4
