Ok I know some people out there have them, and it seems interest in this lens fizzled after it was released. Well I hope it lived up to the name so post some shots and lets have a look!

If you mean the Collapsable 50/2 sonnar, I have one. Just got it from my dad. It was his dads on a Contax IIIa, Which I have also. Though it needs a shutter repair and a CLA.

I will be able to check it out as soon as my Kiev 4a arives from Canada. It has been at a main post ofice for 2 days now :( , Customs I guess.. But as soon as I get the Kiev, I will test it out and post a few for you.

BTW, It almost looks new, very little signs of use, and CLEAR GLASS and DRY F/stop blades too. No coating of course.

I haven't really used the lens in any lighting which one would call "ideal." Here's a few I have, please ignore the dust and crap on the negs.

TriX rated at 1600, either taken at 30s or 60s @ f/1.5

Here's a few more bar snapshots. I bought a 1.25x magnifier which will hopefully help me to focus this lens wide open.

you got a .72 leica? Are you finding that you are having a lot of focus errors?

Yeah, I picked up an MP a couple weeks back and I also use an M2. I don't think I have too many focusing errors, but there were a few more than I would have liked in the couple rolls from that night. Thats probably mainly due to the very bad lighting and my right (focusing) eye is actually fairly blurred, making focusing difficult (actually verified by the eye doc. I tried a contact, but I couldn't get the darn thing in my eye, and I don't want glasses so now I just live with it). Compared to the ZI I don't think its any worse.

there are some really nice shots I would have preferred to post, unfortunately their file size exceeds 1 MB

you can also resize in i-photo (export photo and adjust there)

You are absolutely right! Thanks a lot for the hint.

I have shot the attached pictures last weekend - we had unusual fine weather for mid of November. I used Fujicolor Superia 100.

is it just me or does this lens seem to render images with bright clear details? Im loving it, reminds me of a higher contrast version of the color yashinon in my gsn and I love that lens.
