I started again using my 75 Lux a few days ago. It is not that difficult to focus with this lens wide open on the M8, but it can be tricky. I really am enjoying the 75mm perspective (100mm on the M8), and it just feels good to use this lens.

Here is the link to the snapshots. https://raid.smugmug.com/75mmLuxM807272019/i-7x2g53D

Part of the images were taken in very flat light when the sun was about to set. The B&W images are small image files that come out when setting the M8 to DNG+jpg(B&W).
I chose a location at our beaches where I took many years ago of our two little daughters (then). The image files were uploaded to LR and then changed from DNG to jpg without any additional modifications done to any of the posted images. With portraits, often a photo that is very sharp may not be well received.

I figured there was already one of these threads, but maybe I'm wrong. I haven't used mine in a long time, for some unknown reason. I thought about selling it a dozen times, but I don't know if I could ever do it.

In any case, I love my 75 lux, so here you go...a few contributions to the thread...

Love the look of that lens.

Love the look of that lens.

Love the bokeh, love the way it makes eyes look.

There’s a guy on Facebook that shoots portraits with it.

Makes me want to buy a Leica just to have that lens.
