What with Ektar 100 coming out, I figured I could dip into my cache of AFGA Ultra 100 today. (I have four left.) I usually choose my DSLR or R-D1 when I'm shooting color, but it was fun to eat lunch (delicious) and read the new Shutterbug (awful) at the air-conditioned supermarket while waiting for my negs (scratched:bang🙂.

The first two were shot on the Bessa R4A with Zeiss Biogon 28mm/2.8; the last was with the CV 15mm Heliar. Let's see some of your favorites!

With pleasure!! This is my favorite color film hands down. I'm interested in this Ektar 100, as I've only got about 75 rolls or so left of Agfa Ultra...

That first one looks much like a barn along the road to my place mabelsound. Where is it?

Wow, sepiareverb, we have a favorite subject in common: obscure architectural abstracts. Not that you'd know from my barn pic: I was kickin' it insipid-style today. I like those a lot.

The barn is three miles from my home in Ithaca, New York.

Love the one of the girls crossing the street!

BTW sepiareverb, are you going to go down to NYC for the William Eggleston retro this fall? From your pics I suspect you're a fan.

Bringing back this thread because I shot one of my last two rolls today. Contax G2 with 45mm Planar. And I have to say, Ektar has not turned out to be an adequate substitute, at least not to me.

I shot a lot of the Ultra 50 back when it first came out...I would have to (somehow) find the negs and have them scanned in order to show them here...That was some colorful film...
