Some more recent ones.. The dark edge is probably because the pressure plate spring is not pushing the film back onto the film plane after it has gone over the frame-counter sprocket wheel.

Getting my Argus C3 "Brick" ready for Argus day August 9, 2009. I am going to be shooting it with Kodak Ektar 100 and see what I get.

I took these on Kodak Ektar 100. I have a few more on Flickr.

Some nice subjects there. Hope you had a good Argus Day, I only shot 4 frames with my digital camera on Sunday....

Great pictures. I love the swirly bokeh. I've been convinced and won one on eBay that looks to be in good shape.

Errr...is that because we Europeans consider them rubbish or the Yanks consider them so good that they keep them all themselves?
Importing one from the US shouldn't cost too much. All of mine came from Ebay for less then $10 a piece.

Sorry that these are all family snaps, pretty much... but that's all I ever do.

Argus are rare down here, but I was sent one by a friendly soul. This is one from the first roll.
Film was Kodak Gold 100 film, scanned by a Fuji minilab. The camera may be quaint and quirky but it delivers.

Got some shots on "Argust" 9, 2009 myself. It was the first run out for my camera which needed some tlc after I received it (rf adjustment, etc.). I was pretty impressed by this old "brick!"

And here's all of my C3 stuff on flickr including "portraits" of the camera itself.

I was lucky enough to get a super clean model...I believe it's the Color Matic version.
