I've used the channel mixer for years, and understand its virtues, so again, use what works for you. I'm just suggesting to give the B&W panel a try, you may like it even more.
I appreciate the advice, I'll have a go at it later. Lots to learn, Photoshop always makes me feel like a beginner.

In my quickness to read through the posts subject lines, I thought you wrote, "Post your "fay" Black and White x100 images." My mouse cursor was blocking the letter "v".
