Post your favorite Ektachrome Pics!

If you are like me, a new film from Kodak (I'm calling it new, because they have to reformulate it to some extent at least) is cause for celebration! So Post your favorite Ektachrome images, and if you can, post WHICH Ektachrome you shot it with, and what camera/lens you used. I'll get it started.

Oh man Ektachrome plus X-Pan would be a dream travel the world combination. That 4x5 shot is DOPE. IDK why Fujichrome is always soooo cold toned. I think you pretty much have to start with an 81A even on a sunny day.

Not my pics, but interesting comment on TOP about cross-processing Ektachrome in C41:

Peter: "You didn't mention the huge market (relatively speaking) for cross-processed, i.e., C-41 processed, Ektachrome. That's what I used for my Cuba montage series, with the idea that cross-processed Ektachrome, with a few simple tweaks of color balance and color-specific saturation in Photoshop, is evocative of old magazine photos that have been gathering dust for the past 50 years. Unlike other cross-processed slide film, Ektachrome E100VS (I wonder whether the new stuff is more like the standard G or the more vivid VS) was not irretrievably color-cast in greens or yellows or purples. It was a bit more subtle. Hoping the same for the new stuff."

Yup, this film needs to come back to 120 ASAP. Love the Biogon shots!

IDK why Fujichrome is always soooo cold toned.

Fujichrome is definitely not always cool toned.
You only get cool tones if
- you are shooting in light with high color temperature (above 6000°K); in that situations you get cool tones with every color film
- the color transmission of your lens(es) has a tendency to blue; in that case you will get cooler tones also with Ektachrome (I know for sure because I have some of such lenses...🙂)
- the development is wrong; in that case you will also get problems with Ektachrome, too.

I've shot quite a lot of Ektachrome in the past, and also all of the Fujichromes.
Provia 100F is a very neutral, natural colour balanced film (and E100G is only a bit warmer).
And both Velvia 50 and 100 have a warmer balanced colour rendition.

Mm found back due to inventory (also in the freezer) some Kodak Ektachrome 64, far expired. I will try it and come back here.

Fuji Provia 100F is my favorite in E-6 films. I am using this slide film for a long time. One of the best slide films IMO.
