I think it's worth reworking, David, very nice shot. Maybe late afternoon on a late-Fall day, nice light. Interesting in that it's now off the beaten path whereas it once was the main route of Hwy 10 now replaced by Interstate 90. And the pavement slopes right down into the Columbia River on both sides, its level now higher being backed up by Wanapum Dam a little ways downstream. I live about 30 minutes west of there...
DOUG_ Agh, to think I'd have to make an excuse to go back to that far flung paradise in the desert to do it (get it right)...twist my arm! For sure Doug. I will certainly try for a better scan but any excuse to get back there works for me. I also love that spot at the Columbia (we may have discussed earlier) on the east side from Vantage. Whenever I drive to Spokane I make a point to stop there and take it all in

Thank you very much David! Yes, I use a Plustek scanner: 8100. But maybe this picture I scanned with a Plustek 7600 scanner, from a friend. And I think the 7600 worked better than the 8100 that I'm using these days.
Thank you Shab, I see there is also an Opticfilm 120 and recently a "Pro" update to that that I will look at for 120 film.

PS Love your "in his dreams" pic here ^^ above!

This is a beautiful view... what a land! It must be an incredible feeling to be there and see all these in front of you... thanks for sharing!
While so different, yours is a beautiful part of the world. I have happy recollections walking from San Jean Pied du Port up into and across that part of the Pyrenees. I hope to get back there and spend more time in the Basque region.

^^ Interesting looking brick house with graceful roof-line and two garages of which one appears an add-one expansion.

I almost bought that house, but decided on this one, instead.

Snowy neighborhood! Same here. I'll guess the structure straight ahead is a garage, with the driveway coming in from the left. I see a problem with the orientation of the roof, sloping down on the driveway and back sides. Snow inconveniently slides off the roof right onto the driveway in front of the garage doors. We had the same issue when we bought our house, so in remodeling to expand the garage we had that part of the new roof sloping to the sides instead.
