Erik, it looks like you apply a very gentle tone to your prints, sometimes warm, sometimes cool.

This tone is from Flickr, in fact Flickr has a number of tools to edit the photo's. You can combine "warm" and "cool" tones too. The idea of this is not new. I have a book by Cartier-Bresson from 1980; some pictures in the book have a cool tone and others a warm tone, but very light. It was only recently that I noticed this. The book is "Henri Cartier-Bresson: Photographer" by Robert Delpire (1980). The toning is extremely subtle, but despite that it affects the mood of the photo. I was surprised when I saw this possibility in Flickr too. Very nice that you noticed this.

That is a fantastic image Erik. This image really shows the difference between subject separation by using large aperture and shallow depth of field compared to three-dimensional rendering of depth by the lens at a moderate aperture. Lovely!

I really messed up on my processing. I'd had a couple drinks at dinner then came home and somehow, while loading film to tank-reel, I nipped the start of the leader beyond where the film begins, and then let the remaining leader roll with the film! .....I salvaged this neg, but barely.

Thank you, AAlfano! It is a surprising lens, a keeper.
Erik.
