Very nice composition in your shot. Did you use a wide angle lens?

Hi Erik,
What is the matter with the Contax I? Many repair threads about them. Your shot seems very good.
Not sure about the lens used on my shot, i took this picture in 2011, the negative sheet says "Tmax/Rodinal/9xi", i never scanned them before.
Judging from the heavy vigneting, i would say that it is the cheap 28-80 zoom that came together with the camera before buying the 50 f/1.7.
One more from that film.

What is the matter with the Contax I?
The Contax I was intended as a competitor for the Leicas I, II and III, but the set-up was so ambitious and people were so rushed to bring the camera to te market that it had not yet matured. With all versions of the camera, about seven, problems can be expected during use. Also, for example, setting the shutter speed is very complicated.
The Contax II, the successor model, was a lot better. That is the camera from which the Kiev originated when the Russians transferred the factory in Germany to Kiev as a spoils of war.
But the Contax I remains mysteriously attractive to many people.
