When I returned to film a couple years ago, I decided to standardize on HC-110. I just thought I'd try D-76, which was my goto chemistry in pre-digital years. Based on this roll, D-76 seems sharper to me, with less grain and a somewhat cleaner, more delicate rendering, if that makes sense. I'm not sure if these characteristics outweigh the cost and convenience of HC-110, but I like it a lot.

Thanks, Bjørn. Hate to be disappointing, but that’s actually Fuji Reala that I did a monochrome conversion on because it didn’t work in color.
