Larry these carnival shots are awesome... makes me long for summertime.

I love carnivals, and go every year here at the county fair. Where I live, there is really only one “street” and it’s a block long and full of tourists, so county fair is only opportunity to get people pictures akin to metropolitan street pictures.
Otherwise it’s deer, elk, and buffalo either eating grass or each other. And 8 months of snow.

A few images from Boston, from a trip late last year. A mix of film stocks, all developed myself with DF96 monobath and scanned via Epson V550. I had to do a bit of PP to counteract the way the flatbed scanner reduced contrast and acuity, but I am trying not to get too involved with the computer, as I don't want this to start feeling the same as digital. I have just been using a one-click Lightroom B&W profile which gets my levels and sharpness back somewhere decent. All taken with the little Ricoh 500G.
